This is the home page of the Canton (Formerly Known as The Province) of Tree-Girt-Sea. We are the north side Chicago (including the near north and near west suburbs) chapter of The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The SCA is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to re-creating the more pleasant aspects of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Members attempt to produce the arts, crafts, combat, and ambiance as it would have been during those times.
